Really good, I like it how you weathered your cars. I also liked your graffiti on some of them, most people don’t do that but it makes it look more realistic.

I like the weathering on your cars. I’ve noticed that just a little weathering on buildings and rolling stock greatly improves the realism of a layout. I’ve seen too many layouts where the scenery was realistic and well detailed but the locomotives, cars, and structures didn’t have any weathering on them which made them look too clean and tidy.

Thought so, bent frame and dirty gear box for starter. Pretty common for Atheran, easy to fix.

I realize my track needs a lot of work….that’s why you see that I noted it is my “unfinished” layout in the description. The track that train is running on is just temporary test track. Note that the track next to it is permanent and has cork on it….the track that the train is running on isn’t afixed to the layout yet. Most of the cars aren’t too lite….they’re fine. They just sway and rock becaus of the track not being afixed. You are right about the engine gears. How do I do that?

Your track needs a lot of work, and I would check your engines gear boxes, they don’t sound good. Also your cars look a little lite by the way they’re rocking. Try using number 6 switches instead of number 4′s, I think you’ll like them better.

Love those engines! But your track connections look sort of ruff!? Not an insult. Even your cars look detailed. great job so far.
