  1. Great job on the layout looks great. Thanks for the video.

  2. Great job on the layout looks great. Thanks for the video.

  3. Someday when I get older I’m going to build my own Model Railroad. Thanks for the inspiration.(I’m 14)

  4. It’s a nice layout. Some things didn’t make sense, like the old steam engine being followed up directly by a modern diesel, and a commercial Amtrak would never pull freight. Other than the minor inconsistencies, it’s a nice layout.

  5. very well done this is why model railroading’s the best hobby in the world

  6. This is great work! I only wish that I had this kind of skill! The “espee” engine move and the cnw/up intermodals were my favorites!

  7. @Derailedtrain666 dude… why are you getting all offended? he’s just giving you some criticism.. god forbid.. anyways nice train.

  8. All looks fantastic hey can you give me some modeling tips cuz your work is outstanding

  9. @Derailedtrain666 I wouldn’t worry about it – anyone that’s bothered to pay the slightest attention to a REAL train moving along REAL tracks will see they’re FAR from level! They not only wobble all over the place, but there’s dips and bumps in the track too. If you look down a “straight” piece of track you’ll see it is in fact, far from straight! Unfortunately most rails aren’t 100% level, hence why trains need suspension to deal with it. I think you’ve done a spectacular job with this layout!!

  10. How big is it

  11. Alot of west coast traction, what about the east?

  12. this man is wayyyyy out

  13. @DepletedU they aint woblin that bad, not enough that it causes trouble to other trains

  14. Nicely done. The mountainous scenery is great and realistic. One thing I have noticed on many model RRs is a lack of street markings such as lines and RR crossing symbols on the roads. Is this just a simple oversight or just something due to the period being modeled?

  15. great vid but why was there a cp caboose on the first train?

  16. Thanks for posting this up.

  17. What brand are the first locomotives in the video?
Specially the one with sound. What sound is it? It sounds so real.

  18. Simply amazing. I can tell someone’s put alot of work into this.

  19. I like the layout I love the little passenger car at the end of the one Union Pacific that was hooked to the caboose.Great layout I really enjoyed it.

  20. Funny, my BNSF railroad is set in Colorado.

  21. Looks like some great scenic work and some good weathering too! I love the edited-in sounds of the various train roll-bys, but I gotta ask, @ 2:46 – WTF??

  22. Awsome layout!! You done a great job with this video, making the sounds. Also I like the derailment part. 5*’s

  23. fantastico grazie

  24. @wasteom Hey, sometimes they do get sucked under the wheels :-) haha jk.

  25. @Derailedtrain666 Hey your layout has inspired mine. and trust me, as a teenage model railroader, ive gotten way worse comments then DepletedU has commented, on youtube and in real life. :-) what you think is good, then its the best haha.
